GemPen® Premium – Diamond, Ruby & Sapphire Screening Instrument

The GemPen® Premium is a portable professional diamond and gemstone screening instrument designed for gemmologists, jewellers, diamond dealers and gemstone professionals. Using a full-spectrum Xenon UV light source and proprietary USOF – Ultra Spectrum Optical Filtering technology, it helps users observe fluorescence and phosphorescence characteristics that can indicate natural, HPHT and CVD lab-grown diamonds, as well as potential treatments and synthetics in rubies and sapphires.

For diamonds, the GemPen® Premium works with rough, polished and mounted stones from approximately 0.01 ct to 10.00+ ct and across the D–M colour range. Diamond Screening

Using Filter 1, GemPen® Premium helps the user screen diamonds for fluorescence and phosphorescence characteristics associated with:

Indications of HPHT colour enhancement in natural diamonds
