The Professional KRÜSS Portable Gemology Laboratory is a fully equipped, high-precision mobile workstation designed for gemmologists who require complete testing capabilities anywhere in the world.
Housed in a robust aluminum trolley case with wheels, this laboratory combines advanced optics, essential diagnostic instruments, and flexible power options to support accurate gemstone analysis in any environment.

At the center of the system is the MSZ5000 stereo zoom microscope, offering premium German optics with a magnification range of 7×–45× (expandable to 180×). The microscope can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions and features darkfield, transmitted, and incident LED illumination for detailed inspection of color, clarity, inclusions, and diamond inscriptions. An intuitive touchscreen provides fast and efficient control of lighting and microscope functions.

This portable lab includes all the essential tools required for professional gemstone identification: a refractometer with sodium filter, spectroscope with illuminated scale, polariscope with conoscope, dichroscope, UV cabinet (short & long wave), cuvette table with polished glass cuvettes, and stone holders for mounted and loose gems. A daylight grading lamp and immersion liquid bottles are also included for advanced color and internal structure evaluation.

Designed for worldwide mobility, the system operates on 100–240V mains power with automatic voltage switching. In low-power situations, it automatically transitions to its built-in rechargeable battery (approx. 8-hour runtime) and can even connect to a 12V vehicle battery for field use.
